# Vairogs MCP — Latvian law server

Remote [MCP](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server for **[vairogs.lv](https://vairogs.lv)** — the Latvian law reader and consumer/labour-rights helper.

| `get_law_article` | **Verbatim** current text of one article — always cite from this, never from model memory |
| `list_law_categories` | Corpus coverage by category |
| `search_jautajumi` | Human-verified labour-law Q&A with exact article citations |
| `recently_changed_laws` | Laws amended in the last N days ("kas mainījies šonedēļ") |
| `upcoming_laws` | Laws and amendments with a future effective date |
| `sudzibas_celvedis` | Matches a real consumer dispute to a free complaint-letter wizard on vairogs.lv |
| `corpus_status` | Corpus size + last sync date |

All tools carry `readOnlyHint` annotations. Descriptions are Latvian-first — the language users actually type.
