See the "Face Data Collection and Use" section below for detailed information. - **Names**: Names entered for compatibility readings are processed locally and are not stored on our servers. - **Dates of Birth**: Optional birth dates are used for zodiac compatibility calculations and are processed locally on your device. ## Face Data Collection and Use ### What Face Data We Collect When you provide photos for compatibility analysis, our App detects and analyzes facial features including: - **Facial landmarks**: Eyes, nose, mouth corners, cheeks, and chin positions - **Facial measurements**: Face width/height ratios, jaw width, eye openness, and facial proportions - **Facial contours**: Overall face shape and structure ### How Face Data Is Used Face data is used for the following purposes: 1. **Five Elements Analysis**: Facial measurements are used to calculate personality traits based on traditional Chinese face-reading for entertainment purposes. 2. **Compatibility Calculations**: Facial feature data is used to generate compatibility scores between two people. 3. **Face Morphing**: Facial landmarks from two photos are used to create blended "future child" images for entertainment. 4. **AI-Enhanced Features**: When using premium AI features, photos may be sent to OpenAI's API for enhanced analysis and image generation (see "Third-Party Services" section). ### Face Data Processing - **On-Device Processing**: Basic face detection and landmark extraction is performed locally on your device using Google ML Kit. No data is sent externally for this processing. - **AI-Enhanced Features**: When you use AI-powered features (romantic destiny analysis, AI baby generation), your photos are transmitted securely to OpenAI's servers for processing. OpenAI processes these images solely to provide the requested analysis and does not retain them for training purposes per their API data usage policy. ### Face Data Storage and Retention - **No Permanent Storage**: Face data (landmarks, measurements) is calculated in memory during analysis and is not permanently stored on your device or our servers. - **Temporary Files**: Morphed or generated images may be temporarily saved to your device's temporary directory. You may save these to your photo library if desired. - **No Face Data Retained**: We do not retain, store, or build profiles from your face data. Once you close the analysis, all face data is discarded. ### Third-Party Access to Face Data - **Google ML Kit**: Processes face detection entirely on your device. No face data is sent to Google. - **OpenAI**: When using AI-enhanced features, photos are transmitted to OpenAI's API. When you use AI-enhanced features, photos are transmitted to OpenAI solely for the purpose of providing the requested analysis. OpenAI does not retain photos after processing and does not use API data for training. We do not share your photos or personal details with any other third parties. ## Data Retention - **Photos and Face Data**: Photos and extracted face data (landmarks, measurements) are only held in memory during analysis. They are not permanently saved by our App or on our servers. Face data is discarded immediately after the analysis is complete. - **Generated Images**: AI-generated or morphed images are temporarily stored in your device's temporary directory. These files are cleared by the operating system periodically or when you clear app data. - **Names and Dates of Birth**: Not retained after you close the App. - **OpenAI Processing**: Photos sent to OpenAI for AI-enhanced features are processed in real-time and are not retained by OpenAI after the API response is returned. - **Purchase History**: Managed by Apple and stored on your device. ## Children's Privacy The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
