It executes labeled Separan logic, validates source structure, prints lexer tokens or structure metadata, verifies semantic-tag scope changes, and formats structural indentation. .PP Separan uses explicit block identities such as .BR SEP:name / END_SEP:name and reports diagnostics with stable E-codes and source positions. .SH OPTIONS .TP .BI source.sep Run the source file. Arguments following the source path are passed to the Separan program through the command-argument context. .TP .B --check source.sep Validate syntax, declarations, imports, labels, and supported structure without executing top-level statements or the main function. .TP .B --tokens source.sep Lex the source file and print a JSON array containing token type, lexeme, line, and column. .TP .B --structure source.sep Inspect named structures and print the native structural JSON result. .TP .BI "--tag " source.sep " " semantic-tag Inspect functions and structures carrying the semantic tag and print JSON. .TP .BI "--verify-tag-scope " before.sep " " after.sep " " semantic-tag Compare the tagged scope in two source files. The command returns success when the tagged scope and its boundary remain valid and unchanged. .TP .B --format source.sep Validate and print the source with structural indentation. The input file is not modified. .TP .B -help Print this help and exit successfully. .SH EXIT STATUS .TP .B 0 The requested operation completed successfully. .TP .B 1 The source, arguments, file operation, JSON operation, or requested verification was invalid. Diagnostics are written to standard error when applicable. .SH DIAGNOSTICS Diagnostics use the form .PP .EX SEPARAN E104: message at line 3, column 7 .EE .PP Structured validation APIs additionally expose category, description, expected, actual, primary position, and related opening-block position where applicable. .SH EXAMPLES .TP Run a program: .EX separan examples/hello.sep .EE .TP Check source in CI: .EX separan --check app.sep .EE .TP Format without changing the file: .EX separan --format app.sep > app.formatted.sep .EE .SH FILES .TP .I /usr/share/man/man1/separan.1 Installed manual page location on Unix-like systems. .SH SEE ALSO .BR separan (1) .PP The native tree also provides the development gateway worker .BR separan-gw, which reads one HTTP request JSON object per stdin line and writes one response JSON object per stdout line. It is the adapter boundary for future FastCGI and socket transports. .br .I https://github.com/mocchii2/Separan .SH AUTHORS Separan contributors
