# Substrate Experiment Planning

Use `substrate-rank` to compare explicitly measured or simulated candidates on objectives such as throughput, power, thermal behavior, manufacturability and technology readiness. Hard constraints determine eligibility before weighted ranking.

The result is a research/engineering prioritization, not physical synthesis. OMEGA does not autonomously take control of laboratories, fabrication equipment or hazardous processes. Any real experiment requires an authorized external system, safety procedures and separate approvals. Preserve source measurements and uncertainty for every candidate.
