Muhammed Erkam DOKUR ("we", "our", or "us") developed the **Priv WhatsApp Web** browser extension. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle user information.

## 1. Personal Data Collection
Priv WhatsApp Web **does not collect, store, track, transmit, or share** any personal data, user messages, contact names, metadata, browser history, or chat logs. Everything remains 100% locally on your browser.

## 2. Permissions Used and Why
- **`storage`**: Used solely to save your local configuration settings (e.g., custom blur preferences, active states, and custom chat list) and the local SHA-256 hashed password for the Screen Lock feature. This data never leaves your computer.
- **Host Permission (`https://web.whatsapp.com/*`)**: Used to apply styling and injection of content scripts only when you are browsing the official WhatsApp Web tab.

## 3. Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any third-party analytics trackers, databases, or cloud services. All operations are performed locally.

## 4. Compliance with Google Developer Program Policies
We guarantee that:
- We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
- We do not use user data for unrelated secondary purposes.
- We do not collect financial, health, or location data.
