# Serenity method sources Reviewed: 2026-09-14 Serenity.skill is inspired by public supply-chain research associated with [Serenity / @aleabitoreddit](https://x.com/aleabitoreddit). It is an independent project and does not represent an endorsement by the account owner. ## Public material behind the approach [The AXT/InP supply-chain discussion posted by u/AleaBito](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/1pyghud/the_entire_ai_buildout_google_nvda_msft_is/) traces an AI/photonics thesis upstream to materials and substrate suppliers. The author also links to [this X post](https://x.com/aleabitoreddit/status/2004569946492453003) in the discussion. The Reddit text was accessible at review time; X could not be retrieved directly in this review. The useful research moves visible in that discussion are: - translating a broad technology theme into required physical inputs; - examining supplier concentration and expansion difficulty further upstream; - connecting a technical constraint to company exposure and market expectations; - considering competing technologies and restrictions that could interrupt the thesis. These are observations about a published line of reasoning. The post's company, market-share and valuation claims require their own company or industry evidence; they are not established by reproducing the post. ## What this project contributes The Skill turns that research pattern into a reusable process for ordinary investment research, with A-share source paths, explicit commercial stages, claim-specific evidence, earnings attribution, valuation dates and conditions that would change a judgment. The [AI semiconductor case](../examples/a-share-ai-semiconductor-demo.md) and [CPO company challenge](../examples/cpo-company-challenge.md) are this project's applications of the method. Their conclusions belong to their stated research dates, not to the public account. Use this page for attribution.
