Careful: this app can do serious damage to your server if you don't know what you're doing.** Claude Code set up as an Unraid administrator, not as a coding tool: an AI assistant that manages containers, storage, VMs, plugins and configuration from the terminal or from your phone via Remote Control. It is meant to ask before it acts; that only holds as long as you keep the permission prompts on and read them. **What it does** - Scans your storage (ZFS, btrfs, array), containers, VMs, plugins, User Scripts and network on every start and writes a CLAUDE.md so Claude knows your server. - Manages containers via the Docker socket and runs host commands through a short-lived helper container. No privileged mode needed. - Safe defaults: boot drive read-only, no shares mounted. Opt in to more access as needed. - Risky commands (downloads piped to a shell, network tools, deletes, writes to the flash drive) always ask for your approval with a reason, whatever the mode; disk formatting and wipes are blocked outright. **Requirements** An Anthropic account: a claude.ai subscription (also needed for Remote Control) or a Console API key. **Setup** 1. Apply this template with the default mounts (adjust the two appdata paths if yours is not /mnt/user/appdata). 2. Click the container in the Docker tab, then Console: you are in the Claude session. 3. Log in once (URL in any browser, paste the code back). Leave the session with Ctrl-b, then d; it keeps running. 4. Phone: open the Claude app, tap Code, pick this session. Sessions start in manual mode and ask before acting. It is an AI agent: its rules shape what it does, they do not guarantee it. **Warning** The Docker socket gives this container root-equivalent access to your server. The guard rails reduce accidents but are not a security boundary. If you would not do the same work yourself on the Unraid command line, do not install this. Review every action before confirming.
