# License Change Declaration

**Date:** July 19, 2026

ApiTap was previously licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 with a
Change Date of February 7, 2029 and a Change License of Apache License 2.0.

The BSL 1.1 provided that the Licensed Work converts to the Change License on
the Change Date, *"or if earlier, upon the occurrence of an event specified by
Licensor."*

As Licensor, I hereby specify that event as occurred on **July 19, 2026**.
Accordingly, ApiTap — including this repository and all prior released
versions — is licensed under the **Apache License 2.0** as of that date. The
competing-use restrictions of the former BSL Section 1 no longer apply.

All code in this repository was authored by the project maintainer (including
AI-assisted commits made under the maintainer's direction and local tooling
identity). No third-party copyright interests exist that would require
additional consent for this change.
