# Bookmark Go Privacy Policy Effective date: May 24, 2026 Bookmark Go is a Chrome extension for saving, searching, opening, renaming, tagging, and deleting Chrome bookmarks with keyboard shortcuts. ## Data The Extension Uses Bookmark Go uses Chrome extension APIs to access: - Chrome bookmarks: bookmark titles, URLs, folders, and bookmark IDs. - Active tab information: the current tab title and URL when you save a bookmark. - Local extension storage: tags and notes that you add inside Bookmark Go. - Favicons: site icons shown next to bookmark results. ## How Data Is Used Bookmark data is used only to provide Bookmark Go features: - Search bookmarks by title, URL, folder, tag, or note. - Save the current tab as a bookmark. - Open, rename, and delete bookmarks. - Group bookmarks by site/domain. - Store tags and notes locally. - Display site favicons in the popup and manager. ## Data Storage Bookmark Go stores tags and notes locally using `chrome.storage.local`. Bookmark Go does not operate a server and does not upload bookmark data, tab data, tags, or notes to any external service. ## Data Sharing Bookmark Go does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user data.
