--- comments: true tags: - breakfast --- # :ear_of_rice: Apricot Honey Oatmeal ![Apricot Honey Oatmeal][1]{ loading=lazy } | :fork_and_knife_with_plate: Serves | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:----------------------------------:|:-----------------------: | | 4 | 5 minutes | ## :salt: Ingredients - :droplet: 3.5 cups water - :peach: 0.33 cup chopped dried apricots - :honey_pot: 0.25 cup honey - :custard: 0.5 tsp cinnamon - :ear_of_rice: 2 cups oats ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 3 quart saucepan ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 In 3 quart saucepan, bring water, chopped dried apricots, honey and cinnamon to a boil. ### Step 2 Stir in oats; return to boil. ### Step 3 Reduce heat to medium; cook about 1 minute for quick oats (or 5 minutes for old fashioned oats) or until most of liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
