--- comments: true tags: - bar - dessert - fudge --- # :chocolate_bar: Classic Fudge ![Classic Fudge](../assets/images/classic-fudge.png){ loading=lazy } | :fork_and_knife_with_plate: Serves | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:----------------------------------:|:-----------------------: | | 117 pieces | 3.08 hours | ## :salt: Ingredients - :candy: 3 cups granulated sugar - :butter: 0.75 cup butter - :glass_of_milk: 0.67 cup evaporated milk - :chocolate_bar: 1 tsp instant espresso powder - :dango: 1 7-oz jar marshmallow creme - :icecream: 1 tsp vanilla - :chestnut: 1 cup nuts (optional) - :rainbow: some sprinkles (optional) ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 saucepan - 1 13 X 9 inch pan - 1 parchment paper ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 Combine the granulated sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and instant espresso powder in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. ### Step 2 Allow the mixture to boil for exactly 5 minutes. ### Step 3 Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips until they have melted. ### Step 4 Stir the marshmallow creme and vanilla extract into the chocolate mixture. If using, fold in chopped nuts (optional). ### Step 5 Grease a 13 X 9 inch pan with cooking spray or line with wax or parchment paper. ### Step 6 Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Top with sprinkles (optional) if desired. ### Step 7 Allow the fudge to cool and set completely (at least 3 hours) before cutting it into 1 inch squares. ## :link: Source -
