--- comments: true tags: - dessert - vegan - mousse --- # :chocolate_bar: Tofu Mousse ![Tofu Mousse][1]{ loading=lazy } | :fork_and_knife_with_plate: Serves | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:----------------------------------:|:-----------------------: | | 4 | 60 minutes | ## :salt: Ingredients - :butter: 1 10-oz block silken tofu - :chocolate_bar: 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder - :maple_leaf: 4 Tbsp maple syrup - :chocolate_bar: 3.5 oz 70% dark chocolate - :microbe: some coconut yogurt (optional) - :cherries: some fresh raspberries (optional) - :chocolate_bar: some chocolate flakes (optional) ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 food processor ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 Before you start, take the silken tofu out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour. ### Step 2 Open the silken tofu, and discard the water in the packaging, you don't need to press this tofu before using it. ### Step 3 In the bowl of a food processor, add the silken tofu, unsweetened cocoa powder, 3-4 Tbsp maple syrup, and melted 70% dark chocolate. ### Step 4 Blend until it forms a consistent mousse. You may have to stop the food processor a few times, scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat until all the ingredients come together. ### Step 5 Transfer the mousse into ramekins and top them with coconut yogurt (optional), fresh raspberries (optional), and chocolate flakes (optional), and store them in the fridge for 1 hour before serving. ## :link: Source - [1]: <../assets/images/tofu-mousse.jpg>
