--- comments: true tags: - holiday - dessert --- # :cookie: Toffee Crackers ![Toffee Crackers](../assets/images/toffee-crackers.jpg){ loading=lazy } | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:-----------------------: | | 1.08 hours | ## :salt: Ingredients - :glass_of_milk: 1 can [sweetened condensed milk][1] - :maple_leaf: 1 cup brown sugar - :butter: 0.5 cup unsalted butter - :glass_of_milk: 0.25 cup milk - :cookie: 1 box (90 crackers) Club crackers - :chocolate_bar: 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 9 x 13" pan - 1 foil - 1 cooking spray - 1 2 quart saucepan - 1 casserole pan ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 Line a 9 x 13" pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. ### Step 2 In a 2 quart saucepan, mix [sweetened condensed milk][1], brown sugar, unsalted butter, and milk. Cook until butter is melted, stirring frequently. ### Step 3 Increase heat to medium-high; heat to boiling and continue to boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. ### Step 4 Line a layer of Club crackers in casserole pan then arrange a layer of caramel mix over crackers. ### Step 5 Repeat layers until crackers / caramel are gone. ### Step 6 Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave, then pour over crackers / caramel and spread evenly. ### Step 7 Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set. ### Step 8 Cut into desired sizes.
