--- comments: true tags: - ingredient --- # :chestnut: Almond Paste ![Almond Paste][1]{ loading=lazy } | :fork_and_knife_with_plate: Serves | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:----------------------------------:|:-----------------------: | | 375 g | 5 minutes | ## :salt: Ingredients - :ear_of_rice: 168 g [almond flour][2] - :candy: 170 g confectioners' sugar - :egg: 1 large egg white - :salt: 0.25 tsp salt - :chestnut: 1.5 tsp almond extract ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 food processor - 1 plastic wrap ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 Combine the [almond flour][2] and confectioners' sugar in the work bowl of a food processor or in the bowl of a stand mixer. Process or mix to blend briefly, just to combine. ### Step 2 Add the egg white, salt, and 1 to 1.5 tsp of almond extract, processing or mixing until the mixture comes together and forms a malleable ball. ### Step 3 Remove the almond paste from the processor or mixer, scraping any residue from the sides of the bowl. ### Step 4 Shape the paste into a log or round.
