--- comments: true --- # :carrot: Carrot Slaw ![Carrot Slaw](../assets/images/carrot-slaw.png){ loading=lazy } | :fork_and_knife_with_plate: Serves | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:----------------------------------:|:-----------------------: | | 6 | 10 minutes | ## :salt: Ingredients - :carrot: 1 lb carrot - :leafy_green: 7 oz green cabbage - :onion: 0.5 red onion - :olive: 2 Tbsp olive oil - :apple: 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar - :egg: 2 Tbsp mayonnaise - :honey_pot: 2 tsp honey - :lemon: 1 lemon juice - :hotdog: 1 tsp Dijon mustard - :salt: some salt - :salt: some pepper ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 large mixing bowl ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 Grate the carrot along the long edge to create long, thin strands. ### Step 2 Grate or slice the green cabbage and red onion into thin strips. ### Step 3 Add the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, mayonnaise, honey, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and salt and pepper to a bowl. Mix well to combine. ### Step 4 Transfer the vegetables to a large mixing bowl and pour the dressing over the top. ### Step 5 Toss to combine. ### Step 6 Serve with chopped spring onion on top (optional). ## :link: Source -
