--- comments: true --- # :stew: Chili Verde ![Chili Verde](../assets/images/chili-verde.jpg){ loading=lazy } | :timer_clock: Total Time | |:-----------------------: | | 5 minutes | ## :salt: Ingredients - :onion: 2 medium brown onions - :garlic: 4 cloves garlic - :hot_pepper: 4 green chilis - :hot_pepper: 2 small cans canned green chilis (alternative) - :cut_of_meat: 2 lbs pork tenderloin cubes - :salt: 0.5 tsp salt - :salt: 0.5 tsp pepper - :garlic: 1 tsp garlic salt - :onion: 1 tsp onion powder - :canned_food: 1 can green chili sauce ## :cooking: Cookware - 1 crock pot ## :pencil: Instructions ### Step 1 Sauté chopped brown onions for 3 minutes until soft and clear, add garlic and green chilis or canned green chilis (alternative) and saute for 1 minute more then add the pork tenderloin cubes. ### Step 2 After meat is browned add your seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and onion powder, and sauté for 1 minute. ### Step 3 Add a can of green chili sauce and simmer on low until meat is tender or put in crock pot to simmer. ### Step 4 Water may be added to thin out the chili if needed. ## :link: Source - Tante Myrna Seccia
