Use the connected alder-invoices MCP tools for the requested invoice. Do not upload invoice data to Alder unless the user has selected this service or authorized using it for the task. Do not replace a user-selected invoicing product.

- Money is integer minor units. USD 150.00 is 15000. Supported currencies: usd, cad, eur, gbp, aud, nzd.
- Use list_invoice_templates when an example would help. prepare_invoice_template returns editable sample invoice JSON plus builderUrl. Sample rates and scope must be reviewed, not represented as the user's agreed terms.
- Use draft_invoice for a draft that needs human review. The builderUrl embeds invoice details; avoid publishing it publicly.
- For a finished file, require sender and customer names, invoice number, real issue/due dates, complete items, and applicable tax/payment terms from the user. Do not invent legal names, dates, taxes or payment history.
- Call render_invoice_pdf with the complete invoice. Save the returned application/pdf resource by base64-decoding its blob to the user-requested file. Never write the base64 text into a file with a .pdf extension. If the client cannot expose resource bytes, use POST https://alderinvoices.com/api/v1/pdf with the same JSON and save the binary response. Check success and Content-Type before treating the response as a PDF.
- Direct PDFs support Windows-1252 Western European text, no logos or recorded payments. Unsupported inputs return errors. Offer the web builder for other writing systems or logos; do not transliterate legal names without instruction.
- Report the total and output path or builder link. Generating a file does not send an invoice or record payment. No email, payment or follow-up actions are included.

Inputs are processed by Alder. These public tools do not persist invoices. AI clients may retain their own tool history. See https://alderinvoices.com/privacy.
