# Jodan — Privacy Policy _Last updated: 8 July 2026_ Jodan is a Chrome extension that replaces the new tab page with a dashboard of devotional content from baps.org. ## What the extension collects Nothing. Jodan has no analytics, no accounts, no ads, and no servers of its own. It never transmits any information about you anywhere. ## What stays on your device - **Settings** (theme, visible sections, gallery size) and a **content cache** of the most recently fetched baps.org pages are stored locally in your browser (`chrome.storage.local`). They never leave your device and are removed when you uninstall the extension. - **Most-visited sites** (`topSites` permission) are read only to draw the shortcut icons on the new tab, exactly like the default new tab page does. They are not stored, logged, or transmitted. - **Searches** typed into the dashboard's search box are handed directly to your own default search engine via Chrome's `search` API. The extension does not see, store, or transmit your queries beyond that hand-off. ## Network requests The extension talks to exactly one site: `https://www.baps.org`, to fetch the public Daily Satsang and Vicharan pages whose photos, readings, and audio it displays. Requests carry no identifying information from the extension. Images, audio, and embedded YouTube videos load from the locations referenced by those pages when you view or play them. ## Contact Questions about this policy: patelnixit@gmail.com
