Data We Do Not Collect
- Your privacy is the core feature of Serena's Diary. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal content.
- Diary Entries & Emotions: All diary entries, including text, selected emotions, colors, and stickers, are stored exclusively on your local device. We, the developers, have no access to this information.
- Photos and Custom Stickers: When you create a custom sticker from a photo in your gallery, the App accesses your photo library only after you give explicit permission. The chosen photo is processed and stored as part of the diary entry data on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service.

Data We Collect and Why
- While your personal journal content is kept private, the App uses third-party services that may collect information for essential functionality.
- Advertising Data (Google AdMob): The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, which helps keep the app free. We have configured AdMob to treat all ad requests as child-directed. This means personalized advertising is disabled, and data collection is limited to what is necessary for serving contextual ads and ensuring ad performance. We do not share any of your personal diary content with Google. - Local Storage: All your diary content is stored in a private database on your device's internal storage, which is protected by the Android operating system.
- Password Protection: The App provides a PIN lock feature to add an extra layer of security. It is your responsibility to set a secure PIN and keep it confidential.

- We understand the importance of protecting the privacy of children. Serena's Diary is designed to be safe for all ages.
