# Roadmap

Rough order, no dates. Details and bug reports live in GitHub issues.

1. **First public 0.x releases**: feedback from other fleets, docs with screenshots,
   small fixes from the open bug list.
2. **Home Assistant App (Add-on)** (stable and beta channels), using the normal `OtaUrl`
   download with a published firmware port.
3. **Security review** of the authentication, restore and command paths before 1.0.
4. **Firmware development channel** (track a pre-release or custom build per device group).
5. **Push upload for ESP8266** (`/u2`), currently ESP32 only and experimental, after a
   real-hardware test.
6. **1.0**: stable configuration and routes; from then on breaking changes only in
   major versions.
