Thus the thought itself, if allowed to deeply settle, provides its own clear reward. We will feel less anxiety and pressure, and are far more likely to remain focused and comfortable. Our game improves. This is a far more delicate approach to ‘no failure’ than we would expect from the roaring motivators of modern times.
