# Privacy Policy — YouDiversify **Last updated: June 3, 2026** YouDiversify does not collect, transmit, store on servers, or share any personal data. ### What data is stored All data is stored **locally** in your browser using Chrome's `storage.local` API: - extension on/off state - visited video IDs, titles, URLs, and vote state - blocked channel IDs and names - playlist mode preferences (shuffle, repeat, filters) - floating player position, collapsed state, and theme preference - manager window position and size - short-lived navigation markers for forced play and untracked skip ### How data is used This data is used solely to: - remember which videos you have seen and how you voted - skip unwanted content (visited videos, downvoted videos, the current channel, blocked channels, and YouTube Mixes) - restore the player position and theme between sessions ### What data is NOT collected YouDiversify does **not**: - send data to any remote server - use analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry - collect personal information, account credentials, or browsing history - share data with third parties ### Third-party services YouDiversify interacts only with YouTube pages you voluntarily open.
