# v0.2.13: DSH rc.8 Compatibility [简体中文](../../zh-CN/releases/v0.2.13.md) | **English** | [Capability map](../capabilities.md) v0.2.13 verifies dsh-mnemon against DSH 0.1.0-rc.8 and adopts its richer subagent failure diagnostics without changing Mnemon data, configuration, or public tools. ## Updated - The development and release dependency set now uses the exact DSH 0.1.0-rc.8 package family. The client peer range continues to accept rc.6 and newer compatible 0.1 releases, while rc.8 is the recommended and fully verified baseline. - Failed local and remote child runs now prefer the bounded provider diagnostic added by rc.8. Diagnostic text passes through the existing whitespace, length, and credential-redaction boundary before reaching an operator-visible error. - Older local child runs retain the event-history fallback, so the compatibility update does not require the new diagnostic field at runtime. - Getting Started documents the temporary `@deepseek-ai/dsh@next` installation path while rc.8 remains outside npm `latest`. ## Safety and compatibility - Runtime Memory, Project Documents, Memory Spaces, Provider data, configuration keys, RPC permissions, and public tool schemas are unchanged. Existing Mnemon data requires no migration. - DSH rc.8's incompatible SQLite change concerns the opt-in `@deepseek-ai/dsh-session-persistence-sqlite` session backend. Shipped profiles do not select it, and dsh-mnemon uses separate storage roots. Deployments that mounted that backend manually must back up and recreate only its DSH session database. - rc.8 multimodal input, file/session mentions, named Codex instances, and persistent Windows PowerShell sessions are Host capabilities. Existing dsh-mnemon surfaces continue to work without widening child-agent tool permissions. - Update DSH through the `next` tag, update dsh-mnemon, and restart each affected DSH profile. A normal package downgrade remains available because this release performs no data migration. ## Verification - The complete local verification passes with 370 tests; one Windows-only smoke test is skipped only on the non-Windows local run. - A real isolated DSH 0.1.0-rc.8 Web profile loads the plugin, reports all eight Provider adapters, renders Status and Settings, and produces no browser console errors. - Type checking, deterministic builds, Headless activation, packed-package validation, publint, attw, and frozen-lockfile installation pass. - The rc.8 UI primitives package emits a development-only missing-source-map warning; the published JavaScript, types, build, and runtime behavior remain valid. See the [v0.2.12 release notes](./v0.2.12.md) for the previous patch release.
