# OpenTelemetry GenAI semantic conventions

Semantic conventions for generative AI (LLM, agent, embeddings, retrieval) and
Model Context Protocol (MCP) operations, split out from the main
[open-telemetry/semantic-conventions](https://github.com/open-telemetry/semantic-conventions)
repository.
