--- name: backlog-run-scheduled description: Run an approved backlog item unattended through bounded Codex CLI sessions in an isolated worktree. --- Read [runtime guidance](../../RUNTIME.md) and [backlog-run](../backlog-run/SKILL.md). This requires local Codex CLI and an explicit request for unattended work. Run `python3 "${PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/auto-run.py" --repo --dry-run` first to inspect eligibility and routing. Then run without `--dry-run` within the authorized scope. Defaults: three tasks, 90 minutes total, four million measured tokens; use lower user-selected limits. Time is enforced while a task runs; token usage is checked between tasks, so a single task may exceed the token threshold. Use `--model` / `--effort` only for an explicit selection; otherwise inherit. The driver invokes a fresh `codex exec` per task with workspace-write sandboxing, leaves the work branch for human review, and never merges or publishes. It does not create a recurring schedule; configure one only when requested. Inspect the JSON digest and logs in Work/Runs/, then report the branch, commits, exact stop reason and unresolved questions. An approval failure halts the run; do not disable permissions or retry through another tool to bypass it.
