EasyHook AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the EasyHook AI mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

Information We Collect

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our App for you:

Personal Data: While using our App, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Profile photo
Location Data: We collect and process your device's Precise GPS location to provide core features of the App, including:
- Displaying nearby fishing spots on the map
- Providing localized weather conditions
- Generating AI-based fishing advice tailored to your area
You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, but some features of the App may not function properly without it.
Gear and Inventory Data (New): As part of the "Tackle Box" feature, we store information about your fishing equipment:
- Details about Rods, Reels, and Lures
- Custom gear configurations used to personalize AI advice
Fishing Data: We store information you voluntarily submit, including:
- Fishing log entries (species, weight, notes)
- Fishing spot details (name, coordinates, water type, depth)
- Photos uploaded to fishing logs
AI Interaction Data: When you use the AI Chat (Captain Pino) or "Get Advice" features, we process your fishing data, precise location, and gear information to generate personalized recommendations. Conversations are stored to maintain context and improve the service.

Use of Data

EasyHook AI uses the collected data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain the App
To personalize your experience (weather, spots, AI advice)
To notify you about changes to the App
To allow you to participate in interactive features
To provide customer support
To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the App
To monitor the usage of the App
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
To process subscriptions and payments via our providers

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information about you:

Supabase: For authentication, database hosting (RLS enabled), and file storage.
OpenWeatherMap: For real-time weather data based on your location.
OpenAI: To power "Captain Pino AI" chat and the "Get Advice" engine. Your data is sent via API for session-based processing.
Google Maps / Map Services: For displaying maps and fishing spots.
RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat collects your Purchase History and anonymous identifiers to validate transactions.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We implement industry-standard security measures including Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion (Mandatory Update)

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide you with the App's services. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:
