## Versions 1.1.*

Despite the big changes of v1.0.0, some core mechanics and type definitions were still far from what I desired. This version aims to fix this.

- Fixed an almost three-year issue [#1](https://github.com/pjbatista/timecount/issues/1);
- Fixed typos in a multiple of files;
- Updated dependencies;
- This version is a fix-only for the soon to be deprecated v1... v2 will provide codebase built from the ground-up, with feature-rich enhancements.

> Publish date: 2018-08-10

- **Added `TimeWriter.countdown`**;
- Added bundled version for browsers;
- Fixed several time unit inconsistencies, like typos and coefficients (making v1.1.0 _very slightly_ incompatible with 1.0.0);
- Deprecated types, specially in `TimeWriterSettings`;
- Changed the entire mathematical foundation to [decimal.js](https://mikemcl.github.io/decimal.js);
- Removed the necessity for a hardcoded time unit `name` property;
- Added the ability to use variations of a time unit string (case-insensitive and plurals);
- Once again, made various improvements to the documentation;
- Changed doc-comments to be more IDE-friendly and included more markdown examples;
- Improved testing.

## Versions 1.0.*

This version is a **major code overhaul**, with improved logic, naming and organization. Its a refocus of the project towards a better time-handling implementation.

This version is **not** backwards-compatible.

#### Project changes

- Changed building architecture to take advantage of `gulp`;
- Improved markdown files using suggestions from `markdown-lint`;
- Improved semantics of inline doc-comments;
- Added `.gitattributes`, `.node-version`, `AUTHORS.md`, `CONTRIBUTING.md`;
- Renamed `CHANGES.md` to `CHANGELOG.md` and `API.md` to `src/typedoc.md`;
- Restructured main codebase within `index.ts` (no more unnecessary re-exporting);
- Reorganized module by category:
    - `index` (main module) - time operations;
    - `localization` - internationalization;
    - `utils` - timers and stopwatch;
- Restructured tests to a class per test file;
- Updated `tsconfig.json` (now it has only necessary fields);
- Removed a few entries from `tslint.json` to better match tslint recommendations;
- Updates dependencies in `package.json`;
