Cookie Editor — Privacy Policy Last updated: August 14, 2026 The short version: Cookie Editor does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything the app does happens on your device. DEVELOPER Cookie Editor is developed by Dzianis Milasheuski, an individual developer based in Lithuania. Questions about this policy: info@porconova.com WHAT I COLLECT Nothing. Cookie Editor has no analytics, no ads, no accounts, and no servers that receive your data. There is no sign-up and no login. I do not know who you are, which sites you visit, or what cookies you have. HOW THE APP WORKS - The Safari extension reads and edits cookies for the site you are viewing, using Safari's native cookie API, only while you have the popup open. - Cookie classification (which company set a cookie, and why) is done entirely on your device against a database that ships inside the app. No lookup is ever sent to a server — the app never asks anyone "does this user have cookie X?". - Checkpoints and snapshots you save are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud, they sync through your own private iCloud account (Apple's Key-Value Storage) to your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID; I cannot see them. - Exported cookie files and audit reports are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them. WHAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE Only what you explicitly export or share, to the destination you pick. Nothing is sent automatically, and nothing is sent to me. PERMISSIONS The "All Websites" permission is required so the extension can read cookies on the sites you open. Safari describes this as the ability to "see your browsing history": technically, the extension can read the address of the page you are viewing when you open the popup. It uses that address solely to show and analyze that site's cookies, on your device, in the moment — it does not record, store, or transmit your browsing history anywhere. PURCHASES Cookie Editor Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple, not the developer, processes payment. I receive no personal or payment information. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device. YOUR RIGHTS Because the app collects no personal information on the developer's side, there is no developer-held data for you to access, correct, export, or delete. - Data stored on your device can be removed by deleting the app, or by deleting individual items inside it. - Data stored in your iCloud account can be removed by signing the app out of iCloud or by deleting it from your iCloud storage in iOS Settings. - An active subscription can be cancelled in your Apple Account subscriptions. CHILDREN Cookie Editor is a developer/privacy utility. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children. REGULATORY NOTES The app is designed so that no directly identifying personal information (name, email, IP address, advertising identifier, account ID) is collected by the developer or by any third party the developer uses. Where Apple acts as a processor for purchases and iCloud, those activities are governed by Apple's own privacy policy. CONTACT Questions or concerns: info@porconova.com
