DIT — Privacy Policy Last updated: June 24, 2026 Thank you for using DIT (the "App"). Your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what data the App handles and what it does not. Developer DIT is developed by Dzianis Milasheuski, an individual developer based in Lithuania. For any questions about this policy or the App, contact: info@porconova.com Summary DIT runs entirely on your device. The developer operates no servers and has no account system. Your workout history, custom workouts, preferences, and any health data stay either on your device, in your personal Apple Health database, or in your personal iCloud account — never on the developer's infrastructure. The App sends a limited set of anonymous, aggregated product-analytics events (e.g. "a workout was started") to an EU-based privacy-first analytics service — details below. What the App Does Not Collect • The App has no sign-up, no login, no user account. • The App sends no name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location data to anyone. • The App does not contain advertising SDKs, social-network SDKs, or cross-app tracking SDKs. • The App does not use cookies or advertising identifiers (IDFA). • The App does not sell, share, rent, or disclose user data to third parties. Data That Stays on Your Device The following information is stored locally and is not transmitted to the developer: • Custom workouts you create (name, work / rest / round structure). • Workout history (completed sessions, dates, durations, round counts). • App preferences (sound pack selection, theme, vibration, screen-awake, and similar settings). If you have enabled iCloud Sync in Settings, this same information is additionally stored in your personal iCloud account (via Apple's Key-Value Store) so it can sync to your other devices signed in to the same Apple ID. The developer has no access to your iCloud data. Apple Health (HealthKit) DIT can read and write data to Apple Health only with your explicit permission, which iOS asks for the first time the relevant feature is used. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → DIT. • Reads (Apple Watch only): live heart rate during a workout, so the timer can display it. • Writes (iPhone / Apple Watch): completed workouts (HKWorkout) including active energy burned and heart-rate samples captured during the session. Health data is processed only on your device and stored only inside Apple Health on your device. The developer never receives it. Purchases (Apple App Store) DIT offers an optional DIT Pro subscription and a one-time Lifetime purchase through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payments are processed by Apple. The developer never receives your payment method, billing address, or any other financial information. Subscription state is communicated to the App by Apple's StoreKit framework so the App can unlock Pro features on your devices. You can manage or cancel an active subscription in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device. Cast / Hand-Off (Local Network) DIT can hand off a running timer to another DIT device on the same local Wi-Fi network (e.g. from iPhone to Apple TV) using Apple's Bonjour discovery (_dit._tcp). The first time this feature is used, iOS asks for permission to access devices on your local network. • Discovery and the hand-off message travel only over your local network. They are not transmitted to the developer or to the internet. • The message contains the workout definition (name, durations, rounds) and, optionally, the current round and remaining time. It contains no personal information. Analytics DIT uses TelemetryDeck (operated by TelemetryDeck GmbH, an EU-based company) to collect anonymous, aggregated product-analytics events — for example, how many users open the App on a given day, which workouts are most often started, whether the paywall converts. TelemetryDeck is a privacy-first analytics service designed for Apple developers: it never receives directly identifying information, your IP address is not logged, and no advertising identifier (IDFA) is used. Sent to TelemetryDeck on each event: • A hashed, non-reversible device identifier computed by the SDK from a per-app device value. It cannot be linked back to you, your email, or any other identifier you use outside the App. • A short event name such as app_open, workout_start, workout_complete, paywall_shown, pack_purchased. • A small set of non-personal properties describing the event: the name of the workout you started (e.g. "Tabata"), the chosen subscription plan, the active sound pack — never the contents of your custom workouts, never anything personal. • Standard non-PII technical context attached automatically by the SDK: operating system family (iOS / iPadOS / macOS / tvOS / watchOS), OS version, app version, device model identifier (e.g. "iPhone15,3"), system locale. Never sent to TelemetryDeck (or anywhere else): • Your name, email address, contacts, photos, or location. • Your IP address (TelemetryDeck does not log it). • The IDFA or any advertising identifier. • The structure or contents of your custom workouts (only their name if you start one). • Heart-rate data, energy estimates, or any HealthKit data. • Anything from your iCloud-synced history beyond the one event ("a workout was started / completed") that triggered the signal. TelemetryDeck is GDPR-compliant by design and processes data inside the EU. For further information see https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy DEBUG builds of the App also print the same event names to the local Xcode console for the developer's debugging. Children DIT is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from children. Your Rights Because the App does not collect personal information on the developer's side, there is no developer-held data for you to access, correct, export, or delete. • Data stored on your device can be removed by deleting the App or by deleting individual items inside the App. • Data stored in your iCloud account can be removed by signing the App out of iCloud or by deleting it from your iCloud storage in iOS Settings. • Data stored in Apple Health can be deleted in the Apple Health app. • An active subscription can be canceled in your Apple Account subscriptions; this is governed by Apple's terms and the developer cannot cancel it for you. Regulatory Notes The App is designed so that no directly identifying personal information (name, email, IP address, advertising identifier, account ID) is collected by the developer or by any third party the developer uses. The only data leaving your device on the developer's behalf is the anonymous, aggregated analytics described in the Analytics section above, processed by TelemetryDeck under their own GDPR-compliant terms. To the extent that a strict reading of the EU GDPR or the California CCPA / CPRA treats a hashed device identifier as pseudonymous personal data, the developer relies on legitimate interest (product improvement) as the lawful basis, with EU-based processing and no profiling, no cross-app tracking, and no transfer of the data to advertisers. Where Apple acts as a processor for purchases, iCloud, and Apple Health, those activities are governed by Apple's own privacy policy. Changes to This Policy This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision.
