# Product examples

Curate user-facing examples here. Each example pairs a source background with
the generated desktop result and explains what the user will see.

## New v2 examples

These five examples come from the generated `*-example` themes in the current
Omagen development workspace. Each pair uses the theme's own background and
`preview.png`, converted to a documentation-friendly WebP copy.

The v2 examples demonstrate the range of source material and generated
compositions. The bar descriptor is included as context; the full-bar package
remains optional and is not silently enabled by the core Studio.

Source mapping and redistribution status are recorded in the
[asset provenance ledger](../assets/PROVENANCE.md). These examples are product
material only; their inclusion does not by itself establish third-party asset
permission.

## Legacy examples — made with Omagen v1

These examples remain useful as historical product references. They were made
with Omagen v1 and are intentionally kept separate from the new v2 gallery.

The v2 set should include the source image, the selected palette direction, the
visible composition options, and a clean generated result. Do not claim a
specific recipe or capability unless it was used for that capture. Confirm
redistribution rights for every source background before the stable release.
Historical examples remain labeled as made with Omagen v1 and should not be
presented as v2 output.

Implementation fixtures and compatibility snapshots remain in the existing
developer documentation and test directories.
