# Set Up RazorpayX Account

You can [sign up for a RazorpayX account](https://x.razorpay.com/auth/signup) or if you are an
[existing Razorpay user](#existing-users) use your existing credentials to sign in.

## New Users

To create a new RazorpayX account:
1. [Sign up](https://x.razorpay.com/auth/signup) for a RazorpayX account.
2. Enter your business email address and click **Get Started**. This will be the username you will use to login.
   
3. Create a password. It should be at least 8 characters long, must contain a number and a letter. Click **Create Account**.
4. Enter your name and phone number in the contact details input screen.
5. Select Business Category from the drop-down list and click **Continue**.
   
6. Enter the OTP sent on the registered email address for verification and click **Finish →**.
   

## Existing Users

If you are an existing Razorpay user, you can use your Razorpay Payments credentials to sign into RazorpayX. You can use the same API credentials to fire Payout APIs as well.
