Paste a YouTube link, build a queue, and when you hit play everyone hears the same track at the same moment — no counting down over voice chat, no one lagging half a verse behind. ![The Ploozle panel with a queue of three tracks, the first cued and waiting to be started](https://ploozle.netlify.app/screenshots/dm-playlist-multiple.png) **Getting started.** Open the panel from the toolbar, paste a YouTube video or playlist link, and press Add. Nothing plays until you say so — the first track is cued up and waits for you, so you can build the night's list while people are still arriving. Click any track to jump to it, drag the handle to reorder, and use the transport to play, pause, or skip for the whole room. ## Everyone stays in step Playback is shared through the room, not broadcast from one machine, so there's no host to keep online and nothing to re-sync by hand. Clients work out where they should be and quietly correct themselves only when they've drifted far enough to notice — a late arrival drops straight into the right moment of the track rather than starting it over for everybody. Volume and mute stay personal. Each player sets their own level, and it's remembered next time they open the panel, so the one person who wants the battle music loud doesn't decide it for the table. On a phone the quieter and louder buttons either side of the slider step the level without a fiddly drag. ## Hand out the aux cable By default the GM controls everything. Grant **DJ** access to any player and they get the same queue and transport controls — useful when someone else is running a scene, or when you'd rather not be the one picking tracks all night. ![The GM's DJ privileges panel, with a Make DJ button beside a player's name](https://ploozle.netlify.app/screenshots/dm-player-dj-add.png) ![The same player's panel once granted, showing the queue and transport controls](https://ploozle.netlify.app/screenshots/player-dj-access-granted.png) ## Requests from the table Players without control can suggest a track instead. It goes to the GM and any DJs to approve or decline, and — unlike a suggestion shouted over voice chat — the person who asked is actually told what happened to it. ![A listener's panel: the queue, the request box, and why the room is quiet](https://ploozle.netlify.app/screenshots/player-playlist-multiple.png) ## Built to sit in the corner The panel follows Owlbear's light and dark theme, and sizes itself to whatever it's showing rather than leaving a tall empty box under a short queue. Players always know why the room is quiet — nothing queued yet, or the GM has paused — instead of staring at a panel that looks broken. Reordering works by dragging on a desktop and with the up/down buttons on a phone, tablet, or keyboard. ## Good to know **Everyone presses play once per session.** Browsers refuse to start audio that the person sitting there didn't ask for — Chrome is the strictest, but they all do it. So when the GM starts the music, each player presses play on the video once. After that the GM's controls drive their playback for the rest of the session: skips, pauses and new tracks all follow automatically. The panel says so when it's waiting on you, so nobody has to remember. - **The room starts quiet.** Queueing a track never starts it, and a room left playing when everyone logged off opens paused. The music begins when whoever runs the room presses play, and not before. - **YouTube only.** Videos and playlists, pasted as links. There's no search — find the track on YouTube and paste it. - **Phones and tablets** are stricter still, and a player may land in muted playback until they tap. - **Ads.** Playback uses YouTube's own embedded player, so viewers without a YouTube Premium account may occasionally get an ad. ## Support Bug reports, questions and requests are all welcome. - Issue tracker: - Email: rdrennan0@gmail.com You don't need a GitHub account to email.
