# CodexBridge Privacy Policy

CodexBridge is a mobile client that lets you connect to and control your own Codex session running on your Mac or Windows PC.

## What we collect

CodexBridge may process the following categories of data:

- Connection data, such as pair codes, tunnel or relay endpoints, device identifiers needed to establish and maintain a session, and basic diagnostic logs.
- Session content that you choose to send through the app, including prompts, approvals, messages, and related metadata required to display and sync your remote coding session.
- Purchase and subscription status provided by Apple and RevenueCat so we can unlock paid features, restore purchases, and prevent fraud.
- Push notification tokens if you allow notifications.

## How we use data

We use data only to:

- connect your phone to your own computer session;
- keep your session stable and synchronized;
- deliver subscription features and restore purchases;
- troubleshoot crashes, failures, and service quality issues.

## How data is shared

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited data with service providers strictly to operate the app, such as:

- Apple, for in-app purchases and subscription processing;
- RevenueCat, for subscription status and entitlement management;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, if notifications are enabled;
- infrastructure providers used to relay encrypted session traffic when direct local access is not available.

## Data retention

We retain data only for as long as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Local session data stored on your device remains under your control and can be removed by deleting the app or clearing app data where supported.

## Your choices

You can:

- choose whether to enable notifications;
- decide what content you send through the app;
- cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings at any time;
- stop using CodexBridge at any time.

## Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## Children's privacy

CodexBridge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

## Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means the updated policy applies.
