Doxa is a document management and productivity app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains how Doxa handles information when you use features such as document import, scanning, OCR, PDF tools, local file transfer, voice input, and in-app support.

1. Information We Access
Doxa may request access to the following device features and information only when needed for app functionality:

Camera to scan documents.
Photo Library to import images and create or manage documents.
Microphone for voice input in chat features.
Speech Recognition to convert your speech into text.
Local Network to discover nearby devices and transfer files directly between them.
Files and Documents that you choose to import, view, edit, convert, share, or transfer in the app.
2. How Your Information Is Used
Doxa uses accessed information only to provide app features that you choose to use, such as:

Scanning, organizing, viewing, and editing documents.
Running OCR and document-related tools.
Creating PDFs or converting supported file types.
Transcribing voice input into text for chat.
Sending files to nearby devices over a local network connection.
Downloading a file from a URL only when you explicitly provide a link in the app.
Preparing support emails when you choose to contact support.
3. On-Device Processing
Doxa is designed to use Apple-native frameworks. Some features may process data on your device, including document handling and certain AI-related experiences when supported by the device and OS.

4. Speech Recognition and Apple Services
Voice input features use Apple speech recognition technologies. Depending on your device, OS version, language, and Apple service availability, audio or speech data may be processed by Apple to provide speech-to-text functionality. That processing is subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your documents with third-party advertisers or analytics providers. Information may be shared only in the following limited situations:

When you choose to send a support email.
When you choose to transfer files to another device on your local network.
When Apple-provided system services are used, such as speech recognition, email composition, or in-app purchase processing.
6. Storage
Documents you import or create in Doxa are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export, email, transfer, or otherwise share them.

7. In-App Purchases
Doxa may offer voluntary in-app purchases such as donations. Payment processing for in-app purchases is handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card or billing information.

8. Your Choices
You can control app permissions at any time through your iPhone Settings, including access to the camera, microphone, photos, speech recognition, and local network.

9. Children’s Privacy
Doxa is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
