Open-core boundary: this MIT license covers the dictation "shell" — the hotkey engine,
text injection, model runner, personal-dictionary format, and supporting crates. The paid
meetings/diarization pipeline and Pro polish features are NOT part of this license and are
distributed separately under commercial terms. See docs/research/08-gtm-growth.md and the
plan file for the exact boundary. Bundled AI model weights carry their own upstream licenses
(see the in-app "Models & Licenses" screen and docs/research/07-licensing-business.md).
