# CorePivotal Privacy Policy

CorePivotal analyzes Google Scholar citation data to calculate Core Pivotal authorship metrics.
Data Collection and Storage:

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
We store publication analysis results, cached retraction data, and user preferences
No personal information is collected or transmitted to external servers

## Data Usage:

Publication data is extracted from Google Scholar pages you visit
Retraction data is fetched from public GitLab Crossref repositories
All processing occurs locally in your browser

## Third-Party Services:

Google Scholar: We access pages you visit to extract publication information
GitLab Crossref: We fetch public retraction watch data

## Data Sharing:

We do not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties
All data remains on your local device
