Hazel's source code and original Hazel artwork are licensed under the repository's
MIT License. The compatibility marks below retain their source terms and any
applicable trademark rights.

## Database marks

- **PostgreSQL** — adapted from the [PostgreSQL icon on SVG
  Repo](https://www.svgrepo.com/svg/306591/postgresql), published under CC0.
- **MySQL** — adapted from the [MySQL logo on SVG
  Repo](https://www.svgrepo.com/svg/303251/mysql-logo), published under CC0.
- **Database glyph** — sourced from [SVG Repo](https://www.svgrepo.com/); the
  distributed source file carries the SVG Repo provenance comment.
- **MariaDB** — uses the MariaDB brand path distributed by [Simple
  Icons](https://simpleicons.org/?q=mariadb). Simple Icons releases its icon
  data under CC0; MariaDB trademark rights remain with their owner.
- **ClickHouse** — uses the ClickHouse brand path distributed by [Simple
  Icons](https://simpleicons.org/?q=clickhouse). Simple Icons releases its icon
  data under CC0; ClickHouse trademark rights remain with their owner.
- **Percona** — adapted from [Percona's official SVG
  mark](https://www.percona.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Logo.svg). Percona
  trademark rights remain with Percona LLC.

The SQL Server compatibility mark is original Hazel artwork and is not a copy
of Microsoft's product logo.

The PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Percona, ClickHouse, and SQL Server names and
marks identify compatible database engines. Their use does not imply
endorsement or affiliation.

## Hazel wordmark

The five HAZEL letter outlines in `HazelWordmark.qml` and
`assets/hazel-wordmark.svg` were derived from **Outrun Future Bold** by Andeh
Pinkard / Press Gang Studios. The publisher permits independent creators to use
the face in independently published projects, including for-profit projects.
Hazel distributes only the outlined HAZEL lettering, not the reusable font

## Original project marks

The Hazel Visor rabbit and the rvbbit extension mark are original project
artwork included under the repository's MIT License.
