3. Solo Use and Partner Connection

You can use Love Birds by yourself without connecting a partner.

If you connect with a partner, both users may access shared couple content, including memories, notes, moods, bucket list items, places, and relationship details.

If your partner has not joined yet, you may add their name or image as preview data. Once your partner joins, their real profile details may be shown from their own account.

4. Shared Couple Data

When you are connected with a partner, shared data may be visible to both users in the couple space.

This may include:

Memories
Notes
Mood updates
Bucket list items
Places visited
Important dates
Widgets
Relationship details

Please only add content that you are comfortable sharing with your connected partner.

5. How We Store Your Data

We use Firebase and related cloud services to store and manage app data.

Images may be stored using secure cloud image storage services.

We use authentication and database security rules to help protect your data from unauthorized access.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not make your memories, notes, or relationship data public.

When you update your name or profile photo, your connected partner may see the updated details.

Your real profile information is stored in your user account. Partner preview data is only used when the partner has not joined yet.

9. Disconnecting From a Partner

You can disconnect from your partner at any time.

When you disconnect:

Your account is removed from the couple connection
Your personal profile is not deleted
Your partner’s profile is not deleted
Shared couple data may remain unless deleted separately

10. Account and Data Deletion

You may request to delete your account or personal data.

When your account is deleted, we will take reasonable steps to remove or anonymize your personal information, unless we need to keep certain data for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Shared couple content may need to be deleted separately, especially if it belongs to a shared couple space.

11. Children’s Privacy

Love Birds is not intended for children under 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information.

However, no online service is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and only sharing invite codes with people you trust.
