Transit Canberra is designed to be useful without an account. We do not require your name, email address, password, contacts, or payment details.

## Information we use

If you choose a nearby-stops feature, the app may use your device’s approximate location to find transport near you. Location is used for that request and is not used to identify you.

Saved trips and preferences are stored locally on your device. The app sends transport requests to its service so it can provide timetable, alert, and realtime information. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

## Caching and realtime data

Timetable and route data may be cached locally so the app opens quickly and can show recently downloaded information offline. Realtime information can be delayed or unavailable.

## Your choices

You can disable location access in your device settings. You can remove saved local data by deleting the app or clearing its storage.

## Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data services change. The latest version is available in the app and this repository.
