# GoushFi Privacy Policy | سياسة الخصوصية لتطبيق GoushFi

GoushFi is a personal finance application for tracking accounts, income, expenses, savings, projects, recurring commitments, invoices, taxes, and documents. This policy explains what information the app handles and how users can control it.

## 1) Information you provide | البيانات التي تدخلها

Depending on how you use the app, you may enter or upload:

- Profile settings such as name, preferred language, currency, and optional logo.
- Financial records such as transactions, income, expenses, savings entries, projects, recurring items, invoices, tax-related records, and notes.
- Documents, attachments, proof images, PDFs, filenames, dates, fees, and renewal/reminder details.
- Account email and password only when you choose to create or sign in to a cloud sync account.
- JSON backup files when you choose to import or restore data.

## 2) Local-first storage | التخزين المحلي أولًا

By default, GoushFi is designed to work local-first. Your data can be saved on the device or browser session you are using, depending on the environment and your settings.

You can turn device saving on or off in Settings. If device saving is turned off and cloud sync is not enabled, data may not remain available after the session ends.

## 3) Optional cloud sync | المزامنة السحابية الاختيارية

Cloud sync is optional. If you enable it and sign in, GoushFi stores a copy of your app data in Supabase so you can restore or continue your data across sessions or devices.

Cloud sync may include the app data you choose to save, including financial records, documents, attachments, settings, and backup-related data. Access controls are intended to limit each signed-in user to their own cloud record.

You can disable cloud sync, sign out, delete cloud data, or delete your cloud account from inside the app where those controls are available.

## 4) How information is used | كيف تُستخدم البيانات

GoushFi uses your data to:

- Show balances, summaries, dashboards, and financial analytics.
- Calculate cash flow, savings progress, commitments, document renewals, and tax/invoice summaries.
- Save, restore, export, and import your data when you choose those actions.
- Sync data across sessions or devices if cloud sync is enabled.
- Maintain app reliability, security, and basic service operation.

## 5) Financial analyzer | المحلل المالي

The financial analyzer uses the information already stored in your app to generate summaries, projections, and practical insights. It is designed as an in-app analysis feature and does not sell or share your financial data for advertising.

يستخدم المحلل المالي المعلومات الموجودة داخل التطبيق لإنشاء ملخصات، توقعات، وملاحظات عملية. وهو مصمم كميزة تحليل داخل التطبيق ولا يبيع أو يشارك بياناتك المالية لأغراض إعلانية.

## 6) Service providers | مزودو الخدمة

GoushFi may use service providers only to operate the app:

- Supabase for optional authentication and cloud database storage.
- Streamlit Community Cloud or another hosting provider to deliver the web app experience.
- Apple services for app distribution, installation, and platform-level operation on iOS.

These providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser/device information, logs, and request metadata as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the service.

## 7) Data sharing and advertising | مشاركة البيانات والإعلانات

GoushFi does not sell personal data. GoushFi does not use your financial data for advertising profiles, and the app does not include third-party advertising trackers.

## 8) Data retention | مدة الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

- Local data remains on your device or browser storage until you delete it, turn off device saving, clear browser/app data, uninstall the app, or reset the device environment.
- Cloud data remains until you delete cloud data or delete your cloud account.
- Exported JSON backups remain wherever you save or share them and are your responsibility to protect.

## 9) Your choices and controls | خياراتك وتحكمك

Inside the app, you may be able to:

- Turn device saving on or off.
- Turn cloud sync on or off.
- Sign in or sign out from cloud sync.
- Upload to cloud or restore from cloud.
- Delete cloud data.
- Delete your cloud account.
- Delete local device data.
- Export a JSON backup.
- Restore from a JSON backup.
- Download uploaded attachments when available.

داخل التطبيق، قد تتمكن من:

## 10) Security | الحماية

We use reasonable access controls and service safeguards to help protect stored data. However, no local, web, or cloud system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Please use a strong password, protect your device, avoid sharing backup files publicly, and keep backup copies of important data in a safe location.

نستخدم ضوابط وصول ووسائل حماية معقولة للمساعدة في حماية البيانات المحفوظة. ومع ذلك، لا توجد أي وسيلة محلية أو ويب أو سحابية مضمونة 100%.
