European Union Public Licence (EUPL) v1.2 Preamble The purpose of this Licence is to grant a free licence to use, modify and distribute software which is issued under the European Union Public Licence, and to promote the sharing and reuse of software produced for public services in the European Union. In this way, it supports the activities of the European Union in the field of eGovernment. Definitions 1. "Licence" means this European Union Public Licence. 2. "Contribution" means the software, modifications to the software, or any work based on the software, which is provided under this Licence. 4. "Contributor" means any Licensor who has made Contributions available under this Licence. Licence 1. General 6.1 Applicable Law This Licence will be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the country in which the Licensor is established. 6.2 No Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Licensor be liable for any loss of business, loss of use, interruption of business, or for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from any error in the software or from use, reproduction, or distribution of the software or any derivative work thereof, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. 7. Amendments You may not amend or modify this Licence. This Licence will only be updated or modified by the European Commission with a new version. 8. Scope This Licence is valid for the duration of the copyright of the software. 9. Interpretation In this Licence, the singular shall include the plural and vice versa. The use of the masculine shall include the feminine and vice versa. 10. Attribution This Licence is based on the European Union Public Licence v1.1, and any terms and conditions which differ from those of the European Union Public Licence v1.1 are changes made by the European Commission.
