# dsh-material-file-icons Material Icon Theme-style file & folder icons for the [DeepSeek Harness](https://github.com/deepseek-ai) web GUI file explorer (`dsh-better-sidebar`). ![preview](https://img.shields.io/badge/icons-349%20authentic%20SVGs-blue) ## What you get - **~350 authentic SVGs** from [`PKief/vscode-material-icon-theme`](https://github.com/PKief/vscode-material-icon-theme) (MIT) and the shadcn glyph from [`vscode-icons/vscode-icons`](https://github.com/vscode-icons/vscode-icons) - **90+ file types**: languages, frameworks, configs, media, archives… - **Filename-specific icons**: `component.json` / `components.json` → theme-aware shadcn logo, `tsconfig.json`, `jest.config.*`, `.editorconfig`, `nest-cli.json`, … - **~130 named folder families** (`src`, `components`, `__tests__`, `.github`, `node_modules`, …) with **authentic open/closed variants** ## Install ```bash dsh plugin --profile web add github:sarfarazstark/dsh-material-file-icons ``` Then restart DeepSeek Harness Desktop. That's it — no other steps. ## How it works - The host half serves every SVG over exact `/material-icons/*.svg` routes (in-memory cache). - The client half injects one stylesheet and runs a lightweight `MutationObserver` that tags explorer directory rows with `data-dir` (folder name) and `data-open` attributes. Pure CSS maps those to icons — **no patching of dsh-better-sidebar required**. ## Uninstall ```bash dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-material-file-icons ``` ## Credits Icon artwork belongs to the upstream projects: [Material Icon Theme](https://github.com/PKief/vscode-material-icon-theme) (MIT) and [vscode-icons](https://github.com/vscode-icons/vscode-icons). This plugin only redistributes their SVG assets for use inside DSH. ## License MIT — see [LICENSE](./LICENSE).
