# CLA Policy 
Every non-trivial contribution needs to be covered by a signed Contributor 
License Agreement (CLA) from all original authors.

This requires you to sign either the [CLA for individuals](CLA-individual.md) or
[CLA as an employee of a company](CLA-org.md) depending on if you are contributing as an
individual or as part of your responsibilities in an organisation.
