Sin is a user-installed Discord bot providing utility, entertainment, and Roblox-related features. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect
Your Discord user ID - used to associate your settings and command usage with you.
Your command inputs - text you submit to commands such as AI prompts, search queries, text to translate, and links. This is used solely to fulfill your request.
Your linked account credentials - only if you choose to connect a third-party account via OAuth. This is stored solely to provide the relevant bot features (e.g., YouTube search and upload).
Your preferences - any settings you configure via the bot, stored against your user or server ID (e.g., notification channels and ping roles for Roblox updates).
Command usage logs - logs of commands executed through the bot, including metadata such as command name, timestamp, server context, and diagnostic information. These logs are used for debugging, abuse prevention, analytics, and service reliability.
Server statistics - guild count, member count, and user install count, tracked to display in the bot's presence status and about command.

What we do not collect
General Discord message content outside of bot commands.
Your IP address or browser data from Discord usage.
Any data retrieved through third-party lookups - these are fetched live and never stored unless required to provide a connected feature.

Third-party services
Some commands rely on third-party services to function, including OpenAI, YouTube Data API, Google OAuth, ScriptBlox, BaconBypass, JokeAPI, APKPure, and Apple iTunes. Data fetched through these services is not stored by us and is only used to fulfill your request in the moment. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy that governs their data handling. We only request the minimum scope necessary from each service.

Data retention & deletion
Command usage logs are retained for up to 90 days before automatic deletion. Other stored data is kept only as long as necessary to provide the bot's features.

Aggregated statistics (e.g., total commands run) may remain available after log deletion because they do not contain personally identifiable information.

You may request deletion of your stored data by contacting us via our support server. To prevent further data collection after deletion, accounts that request deletion may be restricted or blacklisted from using Sin.

Security
Data is stored locally on our server and is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. Only the bot operator has access to stored data. We use encrypted storage for sensitive credentials.

Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll note the update date above. Continued use of Sin after changes means you accept the updated policy.
