# Commercial Licensing

OpenPhone-owned materials are available for non-commercial use under the
PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0.

Commercial use requires a separate written commercial license from Dafdef, inc.

Commercial use includes, without limitation:

- selling or licensing OpenPhone-based products or services,
- shipping OpenPhone or OpenPhone-derived software on commercial devices,
- using OpenPhone-owned materials in a commercial product, service, demo, pilot,
  proof of concept, or customer engagement,
- offering hosted, managed, white-label, OEM, ODM, enterprise, or carrier
  services based on OpenPhone-owned materials, and
- using OpenPhone-owned materials for internal commercial business operations
  unless separately licensed.

This commercial licensing requirement applies only to OpenPhone-owned
materials. Upstream Android, LineageOS, Linux, third-party code, and vendor
materials remain under their own licenses.
