Overview

Pradakshina Path ("the App") is a personal spiritual companion for tracking temple circumambulations. Your privacy is fundamental to how this app was designed. The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with any server, third party, or developer.

Data Stored on Your Device

All data you enter in the App — including your name, vow details (temple name, location, offerings, pradakshina counts), session history, PIN lock, and language preference — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to the developer.

Motion & Fitness

In Automatic counting mode, the App accesses your device's motion sensors (accelerometer and pedometer) to detect completed pradakshina laps. This data is processed entirely on-device in real time and is not stored, logged, or transmitted.

Apple Watch

If you use the Apple Watch companion app, session data (lap count, elapsed time) is exchanged locally between your iPhone and Apple Watch via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This communication stays entirely on your personal devices and is never sent to any external server.

Health Data

The App does not read from or write to Apple HealthKit. No health or fitness data is accessed beyond the on-device motion sensors described above.

Analytics & Tracking

The App contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking libraries of any kind. The developer receives no usage data whatsoever.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
