# Contributing Thank you for contributing to the Inoyu Apache Unomi MCP server. External contributions are accepted only after the author signs the [Individual Contributor License Agreement](CLA.md). It is the Apache Software Foundation [ICLA V2.2](https://www.apache.org/licenses/icla.pdf), with Inoyu Sàrl as the licensee. The diff against that text is at the top of the agreement. You keep the copyright in your work and may use it for any other purpose. Inoyu, and anyone who receives software Inoyu distributes, receives the same copyright and patent license the ASF asks for. ## Sign the agreement When you open a pull request, CLA assistant comments with a **CLA not signed yet** button. Open it, read the agreement, and choose **Sign in with GitHub to agree**. The `license/cla` check turns green after that. One signature covers later pull requests from the same GitHub account, until the agreement text changes. ## Before you open a pull request - Run `npm install` and `npm run build`. - Describe the problem and the change in the pull request. - Do not include secrets, credentials, or machine-specific paths.
