While vboxsvr is a fixed name (note that vboxsrv would also work), replace "x:" with the drive letter that you want to use for the share, and sharename with the share name specified with VBoxManage.

- VBoxManage modifyvm "VM name" --natpf1 "guestssh,tcp,,2222,,22"
With the above example, all TCP traffic arriving on port 2222 on any host interface will be forwarded to port 22 in the guest. The protocol name tcp is a mandatory attribute defining which protocol should be used for forwarding (udp could also be used). The name guestssh is purely descriptive and will be auto-generated if omitted. The number after --natpf denotes the network card, like in other parts of VBoxManage.
To remove this forwarding rule again, use the following command:
VBoxManage modifyvm "VM name" --natpf1 delete "guestssh"
If for some reason the guest uses a static assigned IP address not leased from the built-in DHCP server, it is required to specify the guest IP when registering the forwarding rule:
VBoxManage modifyvm "VM name" --natpf1 "guestssh,tcp,,2222,10.0.2.19,22"
This example is identical to the previous one, except that the NAT engine is being told that the guest can be found at the 10.0.2.19 a

- NetWorx is a simple and free, yet powerful tool that helps you objectively evaluate your bandwidth situation. You can use it to collect bandwidth usage data and measure the speed of your Internet or any other network connection. NetWorx can help you identify possible sources of network problems, ensure that you do not exceed the bandwidth limits specified by your ISP, or track down suspicious network activity characteristic of Trojan horses and hacker attacks.
The program allows you to monitor all your network connections or a specific network connection (such as Ethernet or PPP) only. The software also features a system of highly customizable visual and sound alerts. You can set it up to alert you when the network connection is down or when some suspicious activity, such as unusually heavy data flow, occurs. It can also automatically disconnect all dialup connections and shut down the system.
The incoming and outgoing traffic is represented on a line chart and logged to a file, so t

The class includes written materials, lecture videos, and lots of code exercises to practice Python coding. These materials are used within Google to introduce Python to people who have just a little programming experience. The first exercises work on basic Python concepts like strings and lists, building up to the later exercises which are full programs dealing with text files, processes, and http connections. The class is geared for people who have a little bit of programming experience in some language, enough to know what a "variable" or "if statement" is. Beyond that, you do not need to be an expert programmer to use this material.

- The following list contains the 200 highest-scoring films in Metacritic's database with a minimum of seven reviews. Since our database consists mainly of more recent releases (virtually every film since the beginning of 1999, and selected films from prior years) most of the films on this list will be from that period. Periodically, we add additional films from the 1990's and prior decades to our database, and these releases will find their way onto this list as appropriate. Note that any movies labeled "re-release" are not included in the high score list since their scores are based on reviews at the time of the re-release rather than at the time of the original release.

- Exceptionally difficult Sudokus (Hardest Sudokus) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Some of the sudoku puzzles can only be solved using logic that is too complex for human solvers. Most would describe them as unsolvable after exhausting their arsenal of sudoku solving techniques and would proceed to a trial and error path to reach a solution.
It was no surprise that computer programmers were interested in this subject, trying to generate even more difficult puzzles or even trying to find new ways to logically solve and rate them.
Rating puzzles that are beyond human capabilities proved to be difficult as different points of view regarding what could be considered a yardstick for measuring difficulty resulted in heterogeneous opinions on which puzzle is the hardest of them all.
Several active discussions on this issue took place on a number of popular sudoku forums since 2005.[9][10][11] Several openly accessible solver programs became popular between users for the purpose of rating and generating such puzzles. (See: External links)

- Welcome to the home page for the 97 Things Every Programmer Should Know project, pearls of wisdom for programmers collected from leading practitioners. You can read through the Edited Contributions, browse Contributions in Progress, view the list of current Contributors, and also learn How to Become a Contributor yourself.
There is no overarching narrative: The collection is intended simply to contain multiple and varied perspectives on what it is that contributors to the project feel programmers should know. This can be anything from code-focused advice to culture, from algorithm usage to agile thinking, from implementation know-how to professionalism, from style to substance, etc.
Sometime around November, 97 contributions will be picked from the contributions made to this site and published in O'Reilly's 97 Things series, which already includes 97 Things Every Software Architect Should Know (see also here) and 97 Things Every Project Manager Should Know.

- What is expect-lite? expect-lite is a quick and easy command line automation tool.
Written in expect, it is designed to directly map an interactive terminal session into an automation script. expect-lite scripts use special character(s) at the beginning of each line to indicate the action. Basic expect-lite scripts can be created by simply cutting and pasting text from a terminal window into a script, and adding '>' '<' characters. No knowledge of expect is required!
Expect-lite is targeted at the verification testing environment, and will produce a Pass/Fail result at the end of the script. However, its use is not limited to this environment.

- Programming language popularity based on Usenet postings
- This page measures programming language popularity by the number of postings in Usenet newsgroups about the language (restricted to groups in the comp.lang hierarchy; I have collected some data for the microsoft.public.dotnet.languages hierarchy, but our server expires messages from this hierarchy faster, so one would have to scale for that to get comparable results). This has the advantage that it is easy to measure. Other, harder to measure, but probably more useful metrics would be the number of different postings in groups for the same language (i.e., count cross-postings between groups for the same language only once), the number of different posters in groups for the same language, or (not measurable) the number of readers of a group for a programming language.
