The extension reads and modifies the page content only to add hide controls, remove selected search result rows from the visible page, and trigger Steam's existing hide action when you choose to hide an item.

Steam Hider is designed to work with the Steam website. Interactions with Steam pages are subject to Steam's own terms and privacy practices.

Steam Hider does not add any additional third-party services.

## Permissions

Steam Hider requests the `storage` permission to save extension settings locally in your browser.
