The Extension only processes the text content that you select or that is visible on the active web page to generate summaries using an AI service (Google Gemini via a Google Apps Script backend). The Extension does **not** collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information, including your name, email address, or browsing history.

## How We Use Your Data

- The selected or visible text content is sent securely to a Google Apps Script backend for AI summarization.
- No data is stored permanently on our servers.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties.

## Data Security

We take reasonable measures to ensure your data is processed securely via Google’s infrastructure. The Extension does not retain your data beyond the immediate summarization request.

## Permissions

The Extension requires permissions to access the active web page content and to communicate with the Google Apps Script backend in order to function.
